Every bit of Colin and Katie’s wedding was an absolute joy to be a part of. Their wedding was full of meaningful details, intimate family moments, and a whole lot of love. Colin, Katie, and their families put such an effort into all the details of their day. It was so easy to tell that these two had the most loving and dedicated family supporting the two of them.

The stunning peonies were homegrown by Katie’s mother, Mickey. Mickey decorated all the tables with these fluffy flowers and Katie and her bridesmaids hand-crafted their bouquets the night before the wedding. Katie excitedly spoke about how she ordered the anemone florals from Ecuador herself as she knew exactly what she wanted for her arrangements. Every detail went so beautifully together.

Yet another sweet detail that Katie hand-selected was her groom’s wedding band! I love that he trusted her to pick out such an important token of their marriage.. just like us ladies do with our engagement rings. During their first look together, she surprised him with his wedding band. As Colin examined her choice, Katie asked him “so do you like it??” His response was priceless as he responded instantly, “what do you think? OF COURSE, I do!” as he hugged her tightly for the fourth time.

As the day went on, Colin’s mom, Leisa, prayed over both Katie and Colin individually. Katie’s sister and Colin’s brother spoke words of wisdom over them. More prayers were poured over them during their ceremony and at their reception. The day was just filled with an incredible amount of love, prayer, and so much encouragement from every guest that attended their wedding.

The celebration of Colin and Katie continued after their ceremony with vibrant swing dancing! The two of them were so much fun to watch dance together. They moved and twisted and dipped so quickly that after one song was over, I swear I had taken over a hundred photographs!

Colin and Katie, congratulations on this incredible chapter in your lives! While your incredible wedding day is over now, you two have so much to look forward to. The love that you share with one another is truly beautiful. My prayer for you is that the love you share multiplies year after year.

Thank you again for sharing your wedding day with me.

Sending you so much love,

Ellen
