I’m Ellen, a wedding and lifestyle photographer currently based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. I love visiting National Parks, Thai food, watching the Bachelor, and my two sisters. I’m married to the funniest and best person I’ve ever met, Ryan.
Family and marriage are two of the things I'm passionate about and I love that my job as a photographer aligns with my values. It brings me such joy to capture special memories that you, your family, and your loved ones will treasure forever.

My style consists of thoughtful portraits, candid moments, and clean image processing. I love finding that perfect balance of photographs that are joyful and candid along with a detail-focused images. When I take your portraits, we'll always make sure to capture a mixture of both classic and candid images.. and we'll have so much fun doing so!
I love getting to know you and finding ways to serve you beyond just taking beautiful photographs. My favorite thing about being a photographer is that it doesn't end there.
